Job description

You will be part of the Quality team and your role as Quality Coordinator (Evening Shift):

  • Exercise your leadership in compliance with the company's vision and values;
  • Be able to work under pressure and engage your team to meet strict deadlines;
  • Manage your team's performance using KPIs;
  • Manage the workload and individual performance of unionized employees;
  • Ensure continuous improvement, notably with the application of the problem-solving process;
  • Coach your team (15-25 employees) to develop their talent within the organization;
  • Identify, document and standardize key processes leading to the achievement of objectives;
  • Optimize the sharing of knowledge and best practices throughout the organization.

Your profile:

As an ideal candidate,

  • You have management experience in a unionized environment, in the manufacturing sector (quality department is an asset) or ideally the aerospace industry;
  • You have excellent management skills;
  • You demonstrate leadership, judgment, flexibility and are able to work with minimal supervision;
  • You are results-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines and comfortable working under pressure and have a sense of urgency;
  • You have strong communication skills;
  • You have a good understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement;
  • You are fluent in French and English;
