Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future Layout Coordinator.

Job summary:

The layout coordinator is responsible for ensuring the deployment and maturity growth of LEAN methodologies on the site. Their main mission is to create and maintain plant layouts and optimize workspace according to production needs, while coordinating improvement work with cross-functional teams.

Your challenges:

  • Be responsible for site 5S (factory and offices) and collect production requests.

  • Optimize and maintain plant layouts according to modifications.

  • Coordinate and execute improvement work and workstation layouts with cross-functional teams.

  • Monitor project progress, schedule execution, and budget compliance.

  • Manage material needs and ensure the purchasing process for layout needs.

  • Structure line industrialization projects and design action plans.

  • Define primary and secondary production flows.

  • Be strategic and critical regarding proposed improvements.

  • Assist the continuous improvement department in project deployment.

  • Interact with floor employees, support functions, and managers.

Your profile:

  • Technique in industrial engineering or relevant experience in drafting and buildings

  • Notions of project management

  • Interest in the aeronautical industry

  • Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools, specifically 5S and workplace organization

  • Mastery of Autocad and 3D software (e.g., Sketchup, Catia, Solidworks, or other)

  • Good communication and sense of organization

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy, dynamism and proactivity, initiative-taking, and rigor
