Position summary:
The layout coordinator is responsible for ensuring the deployment and maturation of LEAN methodologies on site. The main mission is to create and maintain factory layouts and optimize workspace according to production needs, while coordinating improvement works with multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities / Key challenges:
- Be responsible for site 5S (factory and offices) and collect production requests.
- Optimize and maintain factory layouts according to changes.
- Coordinate and execute improvement works and workstation setups with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Monitor project progress, schedule execution and adherence to budget.
- Manage material needs and ensure the procurement process for layout requirements.
- Structure line industrialization projects and design action plans.
- Define main and secondary production flows.
- Be strategic and critical regarding proposed improvements.
- Support the continuous improvement department in project deployment.
- Interact with shop floor employees, support functions and managers.
Profile / Requirements:
- Technical diploma in industrial engineering or relevant experience in drafting/building.
- Basic knowledge of project management.
- Interest in the aerospace industry.
- Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools, specifically 5S and workplace organization.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D software (e.g., SketchUp, CATIA, SolidWorks or other).
- Good communication skills and organizational ability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy, dynamism and proactivity, initiative and rigour.
