We are supporting our client, a major player in aircraft manufacturing in the Canadian market, in their search for an Aircraft Coordinator.

Role and responsibilities

  • Coordinate the preparation, tracking and communication of the plan to close the technical points for each aircraft in accordance with short-term scheduling requirements.
  • Prioritize and harmonize access for different stakeholders to ensure adherence to the plan.
  • Monitor and help resolve blockers for each aircraft (RNC, BOI, issues, etc.) by liaising with Operations and Operations Support teams.
  • Escalate blockers when necessary to the right people at the right time; identify process blockers and lead improvement projects to resolve them.
  • Participate in E2EQG routines, in particular prepare and lead FOT meetings, and contribute to monthly E2EQG analyses and action follow-up.
  • Coordinate suppliers' recovery plans when they are cross-cutting to the assembly line.
  • Coordinate VL/DL plans when they are cross-cutting to the assembly line; provide first-level on-site support to suppliers.

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or Project Management, or a DEC in Aeronautics with equivalent professional experience.
  • More than 7 years of experience in manufacturing processes, ideally on the A220.
  • General knowledge of dependencies between different positions.
  • Detailed knowledge of planning, logistics, quality and production processes.
  • Strong leadership; able to challenge processes while supporting the growth of colleagues and other functions.
  • Fluent in French (mandatory) and comfortable in English (asset).
