We are supporting our client, a major player in aerospace manufacturing on the Canadian market, in their search for an aircraft coordinator.

Role and responsibilities:

• Coordinate the preparation, monitoring, and communication of the plan to close the technical points of each aircraft in accordance with short-term schedule requirements.
• Prioritize and harmonize access for various stakeholders to ensure schedule adherence.
• Track and assist in resolving blockers for each aircraft (RNC, BOI, issues, etc.) by communicating with various Operations and Operations Support teams.
• Escalate blocking points if necessary, to the right people and at the right time; identify process blockers and lead improvement projects to resolve them.
• Participate in E2EQG routines, in particular prepare and lead FOT meetings, and contribute to E2EQG monthly analyses and action tracking.
• Coordinate supplier catch-up plans when they are transversal to the Assembly line.
• Coordinate VL/DL plans when they are transversal to the Assembly line; provide first-level on-site support to suppliers.

Desired profile:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Project Management, or a DEC in aeronautics with equivalent professional experience.
• You have more than 7 years of experience in manufacturing processes, ideally in the aerospace sector.
• You have a general knowledge of the dependencies between different positions.
• You have detailed knowledge of planning, logistics, quality, and production processes.
• You have strong leadership, are capable of questioning processes, but also have a desire to help your colleagues and other functions grow.
• You are fluent in French (mandatory) and comfortable in English (an asset).
