We are focused on excellence and are dedicated to supporting and developing our teams!SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:- Responsible for coordinating major inspections, installations, and modifications;
- Participate in all meetings related to the major project assigned;
- Oversee all work and manage project progress;
- Support electrical and structural engineering requirements and STC development;
- Review all work and coordinate all requirements for materials, parts, tooling, and external services;
- Identify and track milestones with the Project Manager and Avionics Manager;
- Participate in problem-solving and finding solutions;
- Review work, evaluate identified defects, and provide necessary information to remedy them;
- Complete relevant technical documentation;
- Offer purchasing support where applicable;
- Review the work package to ensure installation labor objectives are met;
- Review project labor hours to meet avionics proposal and comply with eligible costs;
- Verify the accuracy of work packages, billing groups, and invoices;
- Ensure work log releases are prepared after maintenance;
- Assist with all other related tasks as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Post-secondary diploma in aircraft maintenance/avionics program or a related field;
- Valid Transport Canada Category E license;
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a related avionics installation position;
- Experience working with corporate aircraft types, and experience working with Bombardier products are assets;
- Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
- Ability to work as an associate team leader with supervisory experience would be an asset;
- Attention to detail;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts.
