Get to know us: https://www.skyservice.com/fr Job Description: As a Flight Coordinator, you will play a central role within our team, working closely with crew members and account managers to ensure meticulous flight planning and execution for our entire fleet. From processing the initial request to route planning, organizing ground services, and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies such as airport restrictions and permits, air traffic control, and customs services, you will perform essential tasks to optimize efficiency, enhance flight safety, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bilingualism in French and English is required.
  • Provide comprehensive support to crew members and client account managers throughout the flight management process, from flight preparations to in-flight support and post-flight tasks.
  • Ensure proper routing and connections for clients, taking into account crew duty and rest time requirements outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).
  • Manage the planning and notification of customs-related activities – pre-alert customs and immigration services of confirmed flight assignments.
  • Obtain all foreign government landing and overflight permits for international flights and confirm operational requirements.
  • Participate in the integration of operational changes to flight schedules, which includes reviewing prior arrangements and finding a suitable replacement aircraft, in collaboration with the crew, maintenance team, and client account managers.
  • Monitor airport and weather conditions, as well as airspace and air traffic control restrictions, and provide relevant information to the crew and client account managers.
  • Analyze risks for new or high-risk destinations with the assistance of the management team and crew members.
  • Support charter sales by participating in quoting and route planning, and identifying efficient and safe routes.
  • Validate aircraft and crew location, and confirm the status of the minimum equipment list.
  • Monitor flight progress and provide operational information as needed.
  • Perform post-flight tasks, such as reviewing and updating flight log data, conducting post-flight debriefs, and assisting account managers in modifying client profiles.
Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or college studies in aviation management or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills: essential skills.
  • Business aviation experience: an advantage.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), as well as US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) requirements: an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Initiative, decision-making ability, and capacity to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment while meeting tight deadlines.
  • High adaptability and ability to work under pressure.
  • Team spirit, exceptional organizational skills, and multitasking abilities.
