Responsibilities
- Coordinate major inspections on aircraft;
- Participate in all meetings related to assigned major inspections;
- Provide full supervision of all inspection work and manage inspection flow;
- Review inspection work packages and coordinate requirements for materials, parts, tooling and external services;
- Identify and track milestones with the project lead;
- Participate in problem resolution and solution finding;
- Assess all identified defects and provide information for rectification;
- Complete relevant technical documentation;
- Provide purchasing support when required;
- Review work packs, billing groups and invoices to ensure accuracy;
- Be responsible for all technical documentation and maintenance log revisions;
- Other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
* This position involves an evening shift Monday to Thursday
Qualifications and required skills
- Valid Transport Canada M-2 licence;
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in aircraft maintenance work;
- Strong understanding of the CARs (Canadian Aviation Regulations);
- Experience working on corporate/business aircraft;
- Experience in planning and coordinating aircraft maintenance;
- Developed customer service orientation;
- Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
- Strong team spirit;
- Strong computer skills focused on Microsoft 365 applications.
Education
- Aircraft maintenance technician diploma or equivalent.
