Main Responsibilities
- Work within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for working groups between Airbus Canada and its suppliers.
- Organize and lead technical follow-up meetings and workshops with suppliers (in English).
- Ensure the quality of deliverables and resolve quality-assurance issues with suppliers.
- Ensure timely delivery of maintenance documentation in accordance with commitments.
- Analyze the latest engineering documents (drawings, FTER, Modsums) and ensure their optimal integration according to schedules.
- Coordinate training and access to Airbus Canada tools for supplier teams.
- Collaborate closely with various functions to assess and implement effective problem-resolution solutions.
- Drive project plans to meet objectives while identifying risks and developing corrective actions.
- Ensure visibility of project progress to stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly capacity plans for partners.
Profile
- DEC in aerospace or equivalent, with at least five (5) years of experience in technical publications, including coordination or reference-role responsibilities.
- Strong technical background in the aerospace sector and good configuration management to ensure alignment among stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret and synthesize technical documentation (including technical drawings) to support coordination, planning and delivery activities.
- Knowledge of processes and technologies related to technical publications.
- Good understanding of ATA 2200 and S1000D specifications (an asset).
- Knowledge of SGML and XML authoring languages (an asset).
- Proficient with Google suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides) as well as SAP, and able to quickly learn new technological tools.
- Strong organization and planning skills; ability to manage multiple priorities, track progress and proactively identify risks and mitigation actions (an asset).
- Good judgment, leadership and ability to influence without authority in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Client-oriented, quality-focused, responsive and committed to continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, both oral and written (French and English).
