What if YOUR adventure with US begins?!
We invite you to work at Airbus Atlantique, a new world-class champion, No. 2 in aerostructures, No. 1 in pilot seats, and in the Top 3 for Premium passenger seats.
Our Airbus Atlantic site based in Mirabel is looking for its future Methods Configuration Agent – Change Management Coordinator.
Within a dynamic Methods team of about twenty people, you will occupy a pivotal role at the crossroads of the Program, Design Office (BE), Quality (QA), Production, and Supply Chain. Your main mission will be to pilot, coordinate, and secure the integration of technical modifications and configuration changes (IS, Modsum, ECIN, date) on the A220 program assembly line.
Under the supervision of the Methods - Configuration Supervisor, you will guarantee the traceability of modifications, the fluidity of data entry engineering, and the control of the application rank (MSN effectivity) for the Airbus Atlantic Canada site in Mirabel.
The Methods department is above all a team of enthusiasts who work collaboratively and in a good mood. Our mission is to take on challenges with the priority of supporting production in the assembly of aerospace products while guaranteeing the integrity of the configuration.
Responsibilities
You will mainly have to, but not limited to:
- Configuration change management: Coordinate and monitor the incorporation of modification notices, Data Entry Engineering (IS/PIS), Modsums, and ECINs (Engineering Change Incorporation Notice) with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Support production in carrying out repair work.
- Engineering, Program, Quality, Tooling, Supply & Methods Interface: Analyze the impacts of modifications issued by the Design Office (BE 6.1 / 6.3) on manufacturing files and transfer requirements to series preparers.
- Workload vs. Capacity Analysis: Continuously evaluate the workload generated by upcoming modifications, analyze the execution capacity of the Methods team, and proactively identify bottlenecks or operational overloads.
- Governance and Performance Dashboards (KPIs): Define, populate, and animate the key performance indicators of the sector (on-time incorporation rate, work-in-progress of modifications, delays, remaining capacity) to support Methods management decision-making.
- Arbitration and Load Smoothing: Propose arbitration scenarios (load smoothing, prioritization of critical files, use of reinforcement or subcontracting) in case of discrepancy between requested load and the actual capacity of the team.
- Cross-site and Partner Alignment: Harmonize load plans and implementation schedules with counterpart teams (e.g., Mirabel, Mobile, major suppliers like AACo) to secure consistency of delivery effectivities.
Searched Skills
You have a college or university diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing, or any other relevant diploma.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in methods, configuration management, or technical preparation in the aeronautical sector.
Good knowledge or understanding of structure and system assembly processes.
Ability to build, analyze, and animate management dashboards (progress rate, capacity gaps, bottlenecks).
Excellent command of planning and performance monitoring tools (advanced Excel: dynamic tables, data modeling, macros; SAP, MS Project, Power BI) and (an asset) PLM/Enovia environments.
Openness to priority change and rescheduling.
Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, Catia V5.

Aptitudes
Have good interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate leadership.
Analytical thinking & Global vision: A sharpened analytical mind allowing the translation of complex data streams (technical modifications, man-hours, effectivities) into clear, realistic, and actionable load plans for managerial decision-making.
Be recognized for the ability to work both in a team and autonomously.
Agility & Priority Management: Great adaptability to line unforeseen events and schedule variations; ability to quickly reassess priorities and smooth the workload under pressure.
Strategic Communication & Pedagogy: Ability to popularize load/capacity adequacy issues with decision-makers, and to negotiate arbitration or schedule adjustments with diplomacy, rigor, and conviction.
Proactivity & Anticipation: Natural orientation towards risk prevention; ability to detect bottlenecks or work overloads well before they impact the assembly line.
Rigor & Autonomy: Rigorous personal organization, meticulousness in maintaining indicators (KPIs), and great autonomy in independently tracking the technical modification portfolio.
Enthusiastic by nature, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with unforeseen situations.
