Safran Landing Systems is a global leader in aircraft landing and braking systems. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major landing gear components for Airbus A320, A330 and A350 models and the Boeing 787. The site uses advanced equipment for machining, polishing and special processes such as heat treatment, shot peening and surface treatments.

Your mission

Your role will be to ensure physical flows (incoming and outgoing) from receipt of components or raw materials to shipment of finished products to internal and external customers. You will support the reliability and safety of stocks across receipt, inspection, storage, packaging and shipping.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Manage logistics

  • Coordinate and exchange information between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Propose flexibility actions to absorb temporary overloads and smooth workload.
  • Propose and implement means and tools necessary for smooth operations.
  • Ensure daily operational follow-up (costs, quality, lead times, HSE) and follow-up of transport and customs.
  • Organize stocks according to storage rules and 5S principles.
  • Act as the GDA (Document Management and Archiving) contact for the receiving-shipping department.
  • Ensure system inventories match physical reality.
  • Manage the aeronautical parts warehouse.
  • Maintain the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

Provide operational support

  • Perform daily tasks related to launching production orders.
  • Handle daily tasks related to subcontracting management.
  • Manage matrix coupon processes, escalate and handle discrepancies.
  • Perform inventories according to rules and ensure system data alignment with physical stocks.

Manage sales-related transport

  • Handle daily local and international shipments.
  • Process transport invoices, escalate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and communicate monthly analysis of budget variances per the ORM calendar.

Manage non-conformities and disputes

  • Control billing for services and follow up on disputes.
  • Escalate client priority conflicts and communicate priorities.
  • Resolve transport disputes and manage incidents.
  • Conduct QRQC / RPO.

About you

Requirements

  • DEC in production management, industrial engineering or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge and understanding of MRP II principles.
  • APICS Basics of Supply Chain Management is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in French and English to interact with other Safran sites and partners.
