Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in aircraft landing and braking systems. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major landing gear components for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, and the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.

Your mission will be to guarantee physical flows (inbound and outbound) from the reception of components or raw materials to the shipping of finished products to internal and external customers. Support the reliability and security of inventory from reception, control, storage, packaging, and shipping.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Drive logistics

  • Ensure coordination and information exchange between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Propose flexibility actions to absorb punctual overloads and smooth the load.
  • Propose and implement means and tools necessary for the smooth running of operations.
  • Ensure daily operational monitoring (costs, quality, deadlines, EHS) as well as transport and customs monitoring.
  • Ensure stock organization in accordance with storage rules and 5S rules.
  • Act as the DDA (Documentary Management and Archiving) correspondent for the reception-shipping department.
  • Ensure that system inventories are consistent with physical reality.
  • Ensure the management of the aeronautical parts warehouse.
  • Ensure the continuity of the BCP (Business Continuity Plan).

Provide operational support

  • Perform daily tasks related to the launching of manufacturing orders.
  • Perform daily tasks related to subcontracting management.
  • Perform daily internal and external tasks related to the management of stamped coupons. Escalate and process discrepancies.
  • Perform inventories according to the rules and ensure that system data are consistent with physical reality.

Ensure sales transport

  • Perform daily tasks related to local and international shipping.
  • Perform daily tasks related to the processing of transport invoices, escalate and process discrepancies.
  • Perform and communicate the monthly budget variance analysis according to the ORM calendar.

Ensure the processing of non-conformities and disputes related to logistics.

  • Control service billing and dispute monitoring.
  • Escalate customer priority conflicts, communicate priorities.
  • Resolve transport disputes and manage incidents.
  • Lead QRQC / RPO.

Schedule of 38 hours per week from Monday to Friday!

Requirements:

  • DEC in production management, industrial engineering, or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in continuous improvement
  • Knowledge and understanding of MRP2 principles
  • APICS Basic of Supply Chain Management (an asset)
  • Excellent oral and written communication in both French and English to interact with other Safran sites and partners.
