ROLE OVERVIEW

The In-Flight Service Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and safety support to the Chief Flight Attendant and the Flight Operations department. This role supports daily operational activities, investigates and follows up on flight reports, and assists in the development of procedures, reference materials, and crew communications. The incumbent participates in departmental projects, recruitment activities, supplier quality oversight, and the resolution of Flight Attendant concerns. The position is also responsible for coordinating and monitoring onboard food service programs, including ensuring the quality, conformity, and availability of catering products and services, working with suppliers, and supporting service standards that enhance the passenger experience. Through effective administration, research, and operational support, the role helps ensure regulatory compliance, safety, service excellence, and efficient cabin operations.

The incumbent also supports the management and compliance of Transport Canada’s In-Flight Supplies (IFS) program, including monitoring procedures, coordinating with authorized suppliers, and maintaining the applicable security requirements for onboard supplies.

THE ROLE IN DEPTH

• Participate in the Company’s Safety Management System.
• Process flight reports and participate in the follow-up of reported problems.
• Participate in various department projects.
• Develop procedures, reference documents, and service guides.
• Draft documents for Flight Attendants.
• Assist in daily operations monitoring.
• Attend interviews and assist in the selection process for new employees.
• Participate in the resolution of problems raised by Flight Attendants.
• Attend operational and departmental meetings when required.
• Perform various administrative tasks.
• Conduct research when required on various cabin safety and training topics.
• Ensure quality and conformity of goods and services provided by suppliers.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with the In-Flight Supplies (IFS) program in accordance with Transport Canada requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers to maintain compliance of onboard supplies and associated security measures.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and oversight activities related to the IFS program.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Chief Flight Attendant.
• Support the team and department according to operational needs.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

• Bilingual written and spoken (French/English), Inuktitut (an asset).
• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Flight attendant experience is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional, responsible, and reliable attitude.
• Knowledge of Transport Canada's In-Flight Supplies Program is a strong asset.
• Must obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
• Willing and able to travel across Air Inuit’s network as required.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent writing skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and possess a strong sense of initiative.
• Highly motivated, organized, efficient and punctual.

COMPENSATION

• Salary and benefits are determined according to company policy.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.
• Travel across Air Inuit’s network as required, possibility of multiple days away from Montreal.
