Key responsibilities
- Receive, deliver and collect parcels, data and mail, and process outgoing mail in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with courier services to arrange pickups and deliveries.
- Sort and distribute mail, correspondence and reports, and handle emails.
- Understand postal regulations and internal mail handling procedures.
- Perform logistical tasks, including tracking, control and coordination of operations related to aircraft.
- Resolve inquiries from internal and external clients and respond in writing and verbally.
- Liaise with internal and external clients and support management staff as needed; coordinate activities related to aircraft undergoing maintenance and retrieve manuals.
- Organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality, even under pressure and with minimal supervision.
- Administer and comply with Company policies, government regulations, collective agreements and procedures.
- Maintain a flexible and approachable attitude to support the team and operational needs.
- Be adaptable and flexible to respond to operational issues and changing priorities.
- Be prepared to work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety and efficiency.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- At least one year of office work experience.
- Possession and maintenance of a valid driver’s licence.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of aircraft terminology is an asset.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in spelling, punctuation and grammar.
- Numeracy skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven punctuality and reliability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
