JOB PURPOSE: This position is responsible for ensuring effective fleet maintenance planning, ranging from forecasting and budgeting to vendor coordination and technical reviews, to ensure safe, compliant, and optimized aircraft availability.

If you are a holder of an AME M2 licence with solid business aviation experience and enjoy turning technical requirements into concrete, executable maintenance plans, this role offers high visibility and a strong level of autonomy throughout the entire fleet lifecycle.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure accurate forecasting and planning for all scheduled maintenance, in accordance with approved internal and external maintenance programs, company policies, procedures, and contractual agreements.
  • Schedule and reschedule work as needed, according to approved procedures, to optimize resource, tool, and facility utilization across all bases.
  • Be able to research, read, and understand aircraft maintenance manuals to provide accurate labor and parts estimates for specific tasks.
  • Perform regular reviews of Airworthiness Directives (AD) and Service Bulletins (SB), as required.
  • Review work scopes and vendor proposals, validate their accuracy, and present them to stakeholders.
  • Prepare annual maintenance budgets and present them to stakeholders.
  • Review technical documentation and return-to-service certificates to ensure that technical line maintenance procedures are followed.
  • Track aircraft technical deferrals (MEL, CDL) and ensure their timely resolution.
  • Maintain the history of fleet AOG groundings and support aircraft integration and retirement processes.
  • Assist the manager in various related tasks.

TRAINING AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Completed diploma as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) or equivalent.
  • Valid AME M2 license issued by Transport Canada.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, including experience in business aviation.
  • Mastery of maintenance tracking systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent knowledge of the CAR (Canadian Aviation Regulations) and maintenance coordination.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
