JOB OBJECTIVE: This position is responsible for ensuring effective fleet maintenance planning, ranging from forecasts and budgets to vendor coordination and technical reviews, to guarantee safe, compliant, and optimized aircraft availability. If you are an AME holding an M2 license with solid experience in business aviation and you enjoy turning technical requirements into concrete, executable maintenance plans, this role offers high visibility and a high level of autonomy throughout the fleet lifecycle.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure accurate forecasting and planning for all scheduled maintenance, in accordance with approved internal and external maintenance programs, company policies, procedures, and contractual agreements.
• Plan and reschedule work as needed, according to approved procedures, to optimize the use of resources, tools, and facilities across all bases.
• Be able to research, read, and understand aircraft maintenance manuals to provide accurate estimates of labor and parts required for specific tasks.
• Perform regular reviews of Airworthiness Directives (AD) and Service Bulletins (SB), as required.
• Review vendor work scopes and proposals, validate their accuracy, and present them to stakeholders.
• Prepare annual maintenance budgets and present them to stakeholders.
• Review technical documentation and return-to-service certificates to ensure that technical line maintenance procedures are respected.
• Track aircraft technical deferrals (MEL, CDL) and ensure their timely resolution.
• Maintain the history of fleet AOG immobilizations and support aircraft onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Assist the manager with various related tasks.

TRAINING AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Completed diploma as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) or equivalent.
• Valid AME M2 license issued by Transport Canada.
• Minimum of 7 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including business aviation experience.
• Proficiency in maintenance tracking systems and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent knowledge of CARs (Canadian Aviation Regulations) and maintenance coordination.
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
