Position summary

MHIRJ is the merger of two important legacies: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and the CRJ Series program. We provide comprehensive operational, engineering and customer support solutions, including maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, marketing and sales activities for the global regional aircraft industry. We are seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join our team!

Overview

The Transportation Coordinator plays a key role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that goods move smoothly from suppliers to our distribution center. They act as the link between carriers, warehouse teams and internal customers to optimize delivery routes and maintain inventory levels.

Daily responsibilities

• Daily shipment monitoring
• Manage urgent shipments and update relevant stakeholders
• Request Broker Select Option (BSO) conversions (open cases with FedEx and follow up)
• Monitor documentation requirements
• External communication with carriers
• Internal communication with warehouse, customs and transportation team members
• Assist with carrier invoice review, verify freight charges and approve costs
• Prepare and share reports and updates with key stakeholders and management
• Other tasks to support the business

Requirements and skills

• Experience in transportation
• Fluency in French and English
• Proficiency with carrier portals and shipment tracking tools
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple urgent shipments
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office
