You have technical experience in aircraft structures, have previously worked as a structure assembler or methods agent, and wish to evolve and develop new skills? This position is for you!
The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Supplier Coordinator - Technical Data to join our Technical Publications team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).
Your challenges:
- Evolve within a multidisciplinary environment;
- Act as the main point of contact for working groups between Airbus Canada and its suppliers;
- Organize and facilitate technical follow-up meetings as well as workshops with suppliers (in English);
- Ensure the quality of deliverables and resolve quality assurance issues with suppliers;
- Ensure the timely delivery of maintenance documentation in accordance with commitments;
- Analyze the latest engineering documents (drawings, FTER, Modsums) and ensure their optimal integration according to schedules;
- Coordinate training and access to Airbus Canada tools for supplier teams;
- Collaborate closely with various functions to evaluate and implement effective problem-solving solutions;
- Drive your project plans to achieve set objectives while identifying risks and developing corrective solutions;
- Ensure visibility of project progress among various stakeholders;
- Develop monthly capacity plans for partners.
Your profile:
- You hold a DEC in aerospace or the equivalent, with at least five (5) years of experience in technical publications, including coordination responsibilities or a reference role;
- You possess a solid technical background in the aeronautical sector, as well as good configuration management and are able to ensure alignment between different stakeholders;
- You demonstrate an ability to interpret and synthesize technical documentation (including technical drawings) to support coordination, planning, and delivery activities;
- You master the processes and technologies related to technical publications;
- You have a good understanding of ATA 2200 and S1000D specifications (an asset);
- You have a good knowledge of SGML and XML authoring languages (an asset);
- You master the tools of the Google suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) as well as SAP and demonstrate agility to learn and adopt new technological tools;
- You demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track progress, and proactively identify risks and mitigation actions (an asset);
- You show good judgment, leadership, and the ability to influence without authority in a multidisciplinary environment;
- You are customer-oriented, with a constant concern for quality, responsiveness, and continuous improvement;
- You possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both orally and in writing (French and English).
