Role Overview

The Supplier Management and Talent Acquisition Coordinator establishes and maintains effective relationships between the company and its staffing service providers. As the primary point of contact, this person ensures that the services provided meet company requirements while supporting the identification, attraction, and selection of qualified talent to foster company growth and achieve strategic objectives.

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Act as the primary point of contact, build trusted relationships to foster positive collaboration, ensure effective communication, and ensure alignment of goals between the company and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to negotiate and monitor contractual terms, including service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that the company's strategic priorities are aligned with overall needs related to contract workers or contract-to-permanent positions, particularly for Operations (Manufacturing).
  • Identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities in supplier relationships, particularly regarding company processes and procedures (onboarding, training).
  • Manage and resolve issues or conflicts that may arise within the relationships between the company, staffing suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Address concerns raised by the company or staffing suppliers, prevent potential issues, proactively propose solutions, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve conflicts quickly.
  • Support communications related to business needs, overall contractor performance, and candidate ownership issues.
  • Lead weekly governance meetings with suppliers regarding the company's business needs.
  • Lead weekly governance meetings with business teams and internal teams to ensure alignment on needs and headcount.
  • Ensure compliance with processes and procedures by staffing suppliers and manage conflicts as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance of contract conversions to permanent hires with all onboarding procedures and perform quality audits of forms and files submitted by suppliers.
  • Support the use of the internal applicant tracking system (ATS), SuccessFactors, to post staffing requests to suppliers and track requisitions to ensure candidate progression throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Support the entire recruitment cycle in collaboration with suppliers and hiring managers.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • You have 5 to 7 years of experience in recruitment and placement agency management, particularly within complex, high-volume mandates.
  • You are bilingual in French and English.
  • You thrive in a hybrid work environment.
  • You have experience in the aerospace and/or manufacturing industry. Experience in a unionized environment is a significant asset.
  • You have managed multiple mandates simultaneously in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
  • You are a team- and result-oriented person with demonstrated strong influencing skills.
  • You have the ability to influence stakeholders and build lasting trusted relationships.
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills and are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • You have excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite.
