Coordinator, Flight Hours and Credits (Temporary 6 months)

In collaboration with the team manager, the coordinator ensures the rigorous analysis, verification, and processing of flight hours and credits for cabin crew (PNC) and technical staff (PNT). The person ensures the fair and consistent application of collective agreements and internal policies to ensure the accuracy of data transmitted to payroll. They play a key collaborative role with several departments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze changes to actual schedules and ensure they comply with current collective agreements and policies.
  • Verify and investigate route and code variations, then correct schedules as needed to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Manage PNC sick banks (accumulation, deductions, buybacks).
  • Validate the synchronization of PNT sick banks between AIMS and SAP.
  • Process bonuses, overtime, reassignments, and compulsory assignments according to collective agreements.
  • Prepare and transmit various reports to the Finance, Human Resources, Payroll teams and unions.
  • Answer questions from flight personnel and make corrections related to flight hour and credit sheets.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (DES).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the aviation sector (e.g.: Flight Attendant) or in a role related to accounting or payroll.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Competence in time management, priorities, and emergencies.
  • Communication and collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfort with technological tools; knowledge of AIMS (a significant asset).
  • Knowledge of PNC and PNT collective agreements (a significant asset).
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English*.

* A good command of French is required for positions in Quebec. The person in this position will frequently communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, clients, or other stakeholders, both in Quebec and internationally.
