Job Summary:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be integrated into the Supply and Production Control & Logistic Directorate, at our Mirabel assembly site, within the Transport & Customs department.
Responsibilities:
The logistics of the integration sites is ensured by a team of Coordinators present on the various sites. For Mirabel, logistics activities are entrusted to service providers and certain suppliers around the world. One of the roles of the transport & customs department is therefore to act as a link between the service providers, the suppliers, our Production and Supply Chain departments to guarantee process performance and Customer satisfaction
Tasks :
The Logistics Coordinator position mainly covers Transport activities, and you will be responsible in particular for:
International flows and customs with activities of:
Coordinating the flow of parts (import and export) to manufacturing sites (USA, Morocco, Tunisia, Germany, China) or foreign customers, integrating customs aspects and working closely with the legal/customs teams of Airbus Atlantic and suppliers.
Sharing logistical constraints with Production and Supply Chain teams to guarantee deliveries according to Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives.
Managing transport contracts, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and the quality of service of carriers.
Drafting specifications during calls for tender and updating them as needed throughout the duration of the contracts.
Analyzing logistical dysfunctions within its perimeter and managing the associated corrective and preventive action plan.
Deliveries and customer relations by:
Acting as a privileged logistical contact and facilitator with the program and customers during final deliveries.
Anticipating, communicating, and planning deliveries by coordinating actions between production, the service provider, and the customer.
Updating delivery procedures to capitalize on know-how, secure and optimize the flows of the logistical service across all programs.
Management of the logistics service provider by:
Ensuring the operational capacity of the provider with regard to load and production plans.
Coordinating and prioritizing the provider's activities according to production imperatives and customer requirements.
Guaranteeing and controlling strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) rules and Quality requirements by the provider.
Budget preparation and expense monitoring with notably:
Participating, with the transport manager, in the construction of the provisional budget for logistical activities on transport activities and various flows between integration sites and FALs.
Ensuring the placement of purchase orders, validating associated IT receipts (SAP) and managing the budget throughout the year.
Controlling, validating, and processing transport and customs invoices, managing tariff disputes with service providers, and ensuring accounting monitoring (analytical allocations and FNP provisions) to guarantee compliance with the budget.
Profile sought : With a 5-year university degree (Bac+5) in Engineering or Supply Chain/Management Logistics, you have significant experience in the field of transport and global logistics. You master transport professions, Supply Chain issues as well as international legal and customs aspects (import/export).
Endowed with excellent interpersonal skills, you easily play a transversal interface role between customers, production, logistics providers, and carriers. Proactive and solution-oriented, you possess solid analytical and synthesis skills. Mastery of French (oral and written) is mandatory, accompanied by functional English.
