Job Description
In collaboration with the Senior Director, Safety and Quality, the person ensures the promotion of the Safety Management System (SMS) by stimulating employee interest and participation. They act as a facilitator in communication and information dissemination, working closely with the air safety and quality teams to promote key initiatives and issues.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the production and dissemination of the monthly publication TSC Impact (planning, writing, layout and publication)
- Propose topics and write engaging content related to aviation safety
- Optimize, update and make the SharePoint and intranet pages for air safety and quality attractive
- Use various channels and tools, including ICARUS, to effectively disseminate safety-related messages
- Collaborate with safety and quality teams to design and update annual training material (classroom and online)
- Perform administrative tasks, including proofreading, translation and document layout
- Act as administrator of the ICARUS system in the absence of the primary manager
- Produce safety statistics and support follow-ups when required
- Perform any other related tasks as requested by the manager
Qualifications
- College diploma in office automation, graphic design, communications or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, office automation, graphic design or in an aviation-related environment
- Experience in the aeronautical industry (a major asset)
- Excellent writing skills, attention to detail and developed visual sense
- Autonomy, initiative, discretion and professional judgment
- Ability to collaborate with several teams and to popularize technical content
- Excellent command of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and demonstrated ease with collaborative digital tools and AI (e.g. Copilot)
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
- Oral and written proficiency in French and English *
A good command of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will frequently communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, clients or other stakeholders, both in Quebec and internationally.
