The Inside Sales team provides a range of support activities to commercial managers and the external market, including travel agents, tour operators and business accounts. Coordinators - Inside Sales are also responsible for providing statistics and management information to the sales organization in the United Kingdom and to Air Canada's key partners.
We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and team-spirited person, able to help in all areas of the commercial organization, as needed.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare sales proposals, manage and issue corporate and tariff contracts for groupers, tour operators and business accounts.
- Research and provide all relevant information for the classification process in automated systems and channels.
- Manage small business accounts and provide feedback to Account managers.
- Manage and process travel agent requests regarding seat allocations, net fare requests, upgrade requests, waivers and interpretation of contracts and associated correspondence.
- Maintain and create databases, produce reports and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement. Help find potential leads and new market segments for the sales team.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of key business partners to ensure compliance with agreed objectives and provide feedback to commercial managers.
- Assist commercial managers in promoting aircanada.com in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
- Monitor Air Canada and partner programs to ensure visibility of Air Canada products in distribution channels.
- Assist commercial managers in preparing sales proposals, presentations, agency contracts, as well as planning calls and managing associated sales administration.
- Process IATA agency travel requests in collaboration with leading agency benefit schemes.
- Work with senior executives to provide marketing communication support and create advertisements, editorials, advertorials and newsletters in approved media.
- Represent Air Canada in trade shows, travel agencies, promotional events and familiarization trips.
- Provide group fare quotes, prepare and send group contracts, provide monthly reports on group sales and advance bookings.
- Manage the group booking process, including booking creation, name lists, advance passenger information system, seats, meals, payments, cancellations and contract interpretation.
- Provide support to the team for additional activities and projects, as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of the travel industry in the UK and Ireland.
- Successful completion of fare training, an asset.
