JOB SUMMARY:
The Jig and Accessory designer/drafter designs and updates the drawings of jigs and accessories required in production using SolidWorks and the AS400 system, in compliance with industry standards and practices. In addition, they contribute to and/or take charge of various improvement projects for the use or design of jigs and accessories, and ensure their safe use. They validate the design and ensure manufacturing meets production requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze requests for the creation of new jigs and accessories to confirm their feasibility in compliance with standards (safety) and the limits of our products;
- Participate in design review;
- Modify and update jig and accessory drawings;
- Maintain the jig priority list;
- Participate in committees aimed at improving jigs;
- Promote the use of "poka yoke" to limit production needs;
- Validate the dimensional compliance of manufactured jigs;
- Ensure that documentation related to the use of jigs is compliant and understood by production;
- Act as an intervener with production support technicians when they are unable to resolve a problem affecting the jigs;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Desired profile
- DEP in industrial design;
- Strong interest in design and assembly processes;
- Very good command of SolidWorks software;
- Technical rigor;
- Autonomy and resourcefulness;
- Desire to learn and develop professionally;
- Good team spirit
