We are looking for a talented individual to join our full-stack application development team to develop high-quality software across the entire technology stack, designing back-end systems, business logic, and responsive front-end interfaces. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, write comprehensive tests, optimize performance, and contribute to system documentation to ensure scalability and maintainability.

Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage full-stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures.
- Design and implement scalable back-end services, APIs, and business logic using Java, Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing front-end interfaces using React, Angular, or equivalent.
- Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems using Air Canada's enterprise integration platform.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that promotes long-term scalability.
- Develop and conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code reliability.
- Optimize performance across all levels: front-end responsiveness, back-end efficiency, and database tuning.
- Apply modern design principles such as microservices, serverless architecture, and modular components.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, designers, Quality Assurance team, and developers to align objectives and expected deliverables.
- Participate in Agile team activities and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to increase productivity and encourage adoption across the team.
- Contribute to system documentation and onboarding documents to foster knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve product performance and user experience.
- Lead product life cycle activities, including debugging, performance optimization, and post-launch support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- At least three years of experience in full-stack software development.
- In-depth mastery of Java and Node.js (2 years or more).
- Experience in creating and integrating critical APIs.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Front-end frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Back-end frameworks: Express.js, NestJS, Spring Boot.
- Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Couchbase.
- API protocols and specifications: REST, SOAP, OpenAPI, Swagger.
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Integration and delivery pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.
- Solid understanding of application security, performance optimization, and data protection.
- In-depth knowledge of AI integration and emerging technologies.
- Show punctuality and reliability to support the overall success of the team in a fast-paced environment.
Assets
- Experience with Mulesoft or other Java-based enterprise service buses (IBM IIB, Tibco).
- Knowledge of API management platforms (Apigee, IBM API Connect, Mulesoft).
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager).
- Experience in the airline or travel industry.
- Agile development experience within cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of team dynamics between the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and development team.
