Responsibilities:
- Translate mockups into responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
- Write clean, scalable, and modular code using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, React Native, Angular) and native mobile technologies, where applicable.
- Create reusable UI components and contribute to a shared design system that ensures consistency across applications.
- Optimize user interface performance using techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, caching, and reducing rendering times.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs, optimize data flow, and ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal-based websites and applications, including module development, theme implementation, content architecture, and integration with enterprise systems, while applying Drupal best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
- Develop comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
- Implement accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, Section 508) to ensure an inclusive user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in user interface and mobile application development.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to simplify workflows and encourage adoption within the team.
- Participate in Agile team activities (sprint planning, meetings, retrospectives) and contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, Product Managers, Quality Assurance, Development and Operations, architects, and distributed development teams) to align objectives, timelines, expected outcomes, and technical direction across multiple regions and time zones.
- Write design documents and validation plans to support scalable development.
- Plan, prioritize, and oversee the development activities of distributed team members and external partners, facilitating knowledge exchange, problem resolution, and adherence to project deadlines and quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and intermediate developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, solution design guidance, and promotion of development best practices.
Qualifications
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in user interface development for web or mobile platforms.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive web design principles.
- Experience with React or Angular for web development.
- Experience in developing with PHP, including customizing Content Management Systems (CMS), API integrations, and backend support for web applications.
- Experience using Content Management System platforms such as Drupal, Strapi, or other similar headless CMS solutions.
- Deep understanding of functional and object-oriented programming in JavaScript.
- Knowledge of using RESTful APIs and processing JSON data.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Experience with performance tuning and debugging tools for UI optimization.
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, coordinating development activities involving multiple contributors, and influencing technical direction, without direct hierarchical authority.
- Proven punctuality and reliability to contribute to the overall success of the team in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with Content Management Systems, such as Adobe Experience Manager.
- Experience with integration and delivery pipelines and collaboration with the Development and Operations group.
