What will your day-to-day look like?

As part of our team, you will play a key role in developing and supporting critical systems for engine testing. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing applications and systems to support engine testing, including data acquisition and control systems, thermodynamic analysis, and vibration analysis tools.
  • Collaborating with software project teams in an agile environment to plan execution steps, conduct code reviews, create test plans, and ensure requirements are met.
  • Streamlining solution development and deployment by leveraging DevSecOps methodologies and tools.
  • Working closely with internal engineering teams focused on PLC systems, avionics and instrumentation to address their technical requirements.
  • Supporting engine test integration by setting up new test environments and systems to enhance testing capabilities.
  • Ensuring the ongoing functionality and reliability of applications and systems related to engine testing through maintenance and support activities.

This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects that directly contribute to advancing aerospace innovation.

What do you need to be successful?

We're looking for a skilled and motivated professional with:

  • A bachelor's degree in software/computer engineering, electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering with 8+ years of experience (or 5+ years with a Master's degree).
  • Experience as a Full-Stack developer, with expertise in languages and frameworks such as C/C++, Qt, .NET, C#, and/or Vue.js.
  • Solid knowledge of software architecture, implementation, validation, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with DevSecOps tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and GitHub.
  • A good understanding of engine and avionics control systems, communication protocols, networking, and acquisition hardware interfacing (preferred but not required).
  • Knowledge of thermodynamic and vibration analysis is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with database technologies, Java, FORTRAN, or TCL is an asset.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment; it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
