Main Responsibilities

• Continue the development and improvement of a Python-based aeronautical data model;
• Apply solid object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to design scalable and maintainable software;
• Manage structured data using formats such as JSON, YAML, and HDF5;
• Clearly document code, data structures, and workflows to facilitate future maintenance;
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure effective integration of the model with existing tools;
• Develop tools and ensure their compatibility with Windows and Linux;
• Contribute to the evolution of internal standards and practices in data modeling and software development.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

As the ideal candidate,

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or software engineering. A higher level of education would be an asset;
• You have knowledge in loads analysis which would be an asset;
• You have proven expertise in Python programming, with strong proficiency in object-oriented programming;
• You have solid experience with structured data formats: JSON, YAML, and HDF5;
• You are familiar with best practices in data modeling, serialization, and version control;
• You are capable of working autonomously and communicating effectively with technical teams;
• You have experience with Git or other version control systems;
• You have programming experience with Matlab, Fortran, or C/C++;
• You have good organizational skills to plan work activities and complete tasks within budget and deadlines, and you can work under pressure;
• You have good analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as good oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
