Main responsibilities
- Continue the development and improvement of a Python-based aeronautical data model;
- Apply sound object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to design scalable and maintainable software;
- Manage structured data using formats such as JSON, YAML, and HDF5;
- Clearly document code, data structures, and workflows for future maintenance;
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure effective integration of the model with existing tools;
- Develop tools and ensure their compatibility with Windows and Linux;
- Contribute to the evolution of internal standards and practices in data modeling and software development.
REQUIRED PROFILE
As an ideal candidate,
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or software engineering. A higher level of education would be an asset;
- Knowledge of load analysis would be an asset;
- Proven expertise in Python programming, with a strong mastery of object-oriented programming;
- Solid experience with structured data formats: JSON, YAML, and HDF5;
- Familiarity with good practices in data modeling, serialization, and version management;
- Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with technical teams;
- Experience with Git or other version control systems;
- Programming experience with Matlab, Fortran, or C/C++;
- Good organizational skills to plan work activities and complete tasks within budget and deadlines, and ability to work under pressure;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as good communication skills, both oral and written, in French and English.
