The Global Manufacturing organization is seeking an Associate Director, Project Management to join its leadership team.

In this strategic role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leadership, leading high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that help shape the future of the organization. You will oversee enterprise-wide projects, provide strategic insights, and enable the successful execution of critical business priorities across multiple functions.

As a member of the Global Manufacturing leadership team, you will play a key role in bridging strategy and execution, fostering organizational alignment, driving operational excellence, and delivering measurable business outcomes that support Pratt & Whitney Canada’s long-term objectives.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Partner with operations senior leadership to define strategic priorities, assess complex business challenges, and develop actionable plans that support the organization’s long-term objectives.
  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional strategic initiatives and special mandates from concept through execution, ensuring the successful delivery of business objectives.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps, governance frameworks, and implementation plans to enable the execution of enterprise priorities and transformation initiatives.
  • Provide data-driven insights, strategic analysis, and recommendations to support executive decision-making, organizational planning, and business performance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by identifying risks, evaluating opportunities, and recommending practical solutions to complex operational and strategic challenges.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, business reviews, and leadership communications that translate complex information into clear, concise, and compelling messages.
  • Foster collaboration across business units and functions to align stakeholders, resolve cross-functional challenges, and accelerate the execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance governance, organizational effectiveness, operational efficiency, and the adoption of best practices across the organization.
  • Influence and engage stakeholders at all levels without direct authority by building strong partnerships that enable execution and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives by tracking key milestones, managing risks, and providing regular updates to executive leadership.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required to support business objectives and the continued evolution of the Global Manufacturing organization.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline, combined with eight (8) years or more of experience leading strategic, cross-functional initiatives within a complex business environment.
  • High degree of autonomy, strong sense of initiative, and sound judgment in a fast-paced, complex, and constantly evolving business environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide strategic projects, organizational transformations, or executive-level initiatives.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex and ambiguous business challenges through a structured problem-solving approach.
  • Proven project and program management expertise, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional influencing leadership skills, with demonstrated success collaborating across diverse business functions without direct authority.
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing materials and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations that support executive decision-making.
  • Experience driving operational excellence, process improvement, governance, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other collaboration tools.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or another relevant discipline is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and change management practices is considered an asset.
