This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

Joining the Business Development team at Pratt & Whitney Canada (PWC) as the Digital Solutions Director offers the opportunity to drive high-impact, strategic digital initiatives that shape the future of our global Aftermarket business. You will lead transformative projects that enhance customer experiences, enable scalable growth, and influence the company's direction in the aerospace industry. This role provides a platform to collaborate with cross-functional leaders and innovate at a global scale while fostering your professional and leadership growth.
Day-to-day
The role focuses on managing a team of 18 professionals and 60 external experts across North America and India, bringing together development, data analysis, and customer support expertise to drive innovation and operational excellence.
As Director, you will oversee customer-facing digital applications while leading Customer Master Data and the Contact Center organizations. The position includes leading strategic initiatives such as Aftermarket Data Governance in collaboration with Pratt & Whitney United States and RTX, promoting Agile adoption, and advancing the Digital Product approach across P&WC.
Key Impact Areas
- Influence the Aftermarket organization, Finance, and Global Trade to ensure synchronized execution of digital strategies across global teams.
- Shape and execute strategies for software development, contact center operations, and Customer Master Data management.
- Deliver innovative solutions to address long-standing challenges, including Customer Master Data governance and omnichannel customer service capabilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure 24/7 availability of customer-facing applications and subsystems to support aircraft operations and business continuity.
- Oversee the Customer Master Data team to maintain best-in-class data quality and respond to customer queries promptly.
- Lead continuous improvement projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timelines while delivering expected value.
- Drive modernization of eCommerce platforms (UX/UI) and support the Connected Services portfolio and P&WC Transformation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a long-term vision and roadmap to enhance customer service through modern methodologies, innovative digital tools, and scalable solutions.
- Promote Agile and Digital Product lifecycles within P&WC to improve operational efficiency and responsiveness.
- Lead Aftermarket Data Governance efforts with P&WC United States and RTX.
- Manage and oversee a significant annual operating budget, including strategic partnerships with key external vendors.
- Drive digital revenue growth through online platforms across multiple product lines, including service programs, technical publications, and spare parts.
- Oversee Tech Pubs publishing and maintenance and ePLM budget management.
- Manage CAPEX budgets for connected aftermarket and Managed Services.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with digital partners.
- Lead deployment and execution of the eCommerce strategy.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 14 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 12 years' experience, including:
- Software development lifecycle
- Budget planning
- Project management and control
- Coaching and HR development
- Business case development
- Strategic alliances
- Extensive knowledge of Aftermarket services, global customer support, and internal finance/IT processes.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence decisions and resolve conflicts.
- Experience leading teams located in different countries and cultures.
- Track record supporting a global customer base through customer service organizations and digital platforms.
- Ability to understand and adapt to legislation in different countries when developing digital solutions.
Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms, and to communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
