The Director of Sales, Engineering Services' primary objective is to develop new clients in order to diversify the organization, in line with the defined strategy. The successful candidate will be expected to leverage creativity to build a competitive service offering, expand SOGECLAIR's network, and grow the company's client base. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong business relationships between the company and its clients.
TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH 🎯
Business Development & Strategy
- Develop new clients and business opportunities
- Develop and implement the sales strategic plan aligned with the company's objectives
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers to achieve sales and performance targets
- Propose effective market diversification strategies to grow activities within the aerospace sector
- Conduct strategic market and competitive intelligence, analyze trends, identify target markets, risks, and business opportunities, and provide recommendations to support company growth and objectives
- Participate in the five-year strategic planning process
- Inform, promote, and act as a trusted advisor to clients regarding the full range of services offered by the company
- Analyze client needs and negotiate contract terms between clients and the company
- Participate in and implement marketing and communication strategies within the organization
- Represent SOGECLAIR's global expertise portfolio (France, Tunisia, UK, Canada, USA, etc.) to deploy our capabilities across North America
Sales Growth & Development
- Represent the company at various industry events to generate new business opportunities and strengthen SOGECLAIR's positioning as a market leader
- Prepare sales proposals and presentations tailored to client needs
- Contribute to the strategic development of budgets
- Use the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and ensure data is consistently updated
Client Relations
- Ensure client retention by building strong, trust-based relationships and delivering exceptional customer service and after-sales support
- Understand AS9100 standards and the responsibilities associated with this role
- Comply with the company's Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and apply relevant tools in task execution
- Act as an internal liaison for client technical needs, ensuring effective communication between Sales, Engineering/Projects, and Human Resources when required
- Ensure proper collection of technical requirements and clarification of statements of work for new opportunities prior to project launch
- Perform any other related duties as required

Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of the aerospace industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Well-established professional network within the industry
- Proven experience in new account acquisition and business development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken
