P&WC Regional Airlines Customer Programs is currently looking for an Associate Director to lead a professional and international team in supporting a growing pay-per-hour (PPH) customer portfolio across multiple airframes, engine models, mission segments and contract structures. Within Regional Airlines Customer Programs, this role is key in the delivery of strategic projects, and the definition our program strategy to adapt to our customers’ expectations and the market demand. In addition, this person will be responsible for building customer relationships and representing the operators’ voices within the company.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

Function Description

The Regional Airlines Associate Director will report to the Commercial Program Director/Associate Director and is responsible to:

  • Lead, coach and mentor a Team of Customer Managers to fulfill the contractual obligations of our service and maintenance agreements with Airline operators,
  • Lead commercial customer activities from start to successful resolution,
  • Lead the consolidation of fleet information to deliver engine shop visit forecasting for our service centre network,
  • Manage a diversified portfolio of fleet customers and operators utilizing a strong cross functional skillset to provide best in class service delivery,
  • Lead the co-ordination of the Regional Operator relationships for shows, events, and meetings,
  • Support Regional OEM's with key program projects and initiatives (as applicable),
  • Represent the customers’ voice during internal meetings,
  • Participate in establishing a commercial aftermarket strategy based on client type and operational use to best deliver commercial and technical customer solutions,
  • Determine and implement customized management practices for each account through client expertise, needs and requirements,
  • Lead the coordination and presentation of internal reporting as part of commercial Customer Service (CS) governance for Regional Programs,
  • Support financial reviews and develop strategies to improve business performance,
  • Handles complex customer matters with high profile customers and co-ordinates issue resolution to satisfy customer requirements,
  • Co-ordinates with stakeholders to identify support planning needs,
  • Supports Customer Managers in the management their portfolios and development of their careers,
  • This experience will offer you the opportunity to expand your learning of the Customer Service organization and more specifically Regional Programs and our customers while being a key player in managing your programs and delivering our critical projects.

What your day to day will look like:

  • Lead your team to develop solutions for Regional Operator accounts and ensure contractual service level expectations are respected.
  • Responsible for overall contract management to drive profitability.
  • Support different projects linked to the program strategies, and drive service improvements leading to best-in-class support.
  • Collaborate and co-ordinate with different P&WC departments to ensure clear contractual requirements are established in our agreements.
  • Act as escalation support for the team when developing solutions with internal and external service providers to ensure customer inquiries are satisfied.
  • Lead the coordination and drive resolution of customer actions and briefing papers for assigned clients as required.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives for key responsibilities and deliverables.

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years experience or Master’s degree with a minimum of 7 years experience in the following disciplines: Administration/ Commerce, Aeronautical Maintenance, Aerospace Engineering, Business Management, Finance, Mechanical Engineering, International Management, Operations Management, Business Management – Finance
  • Passion for data-driven decision-making and analytics
  • High degree of autonomy and able to engage support when needed
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead, persuade and empower to effect business transformations
  • Self-starter who is resilient, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Lead by example, team player
  • Is strong in building relationships and trust with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates a high level of curiosity to identify and create new business opportunities in untapped areas.
  • Result-driven, demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage resources to meet objectives within defined time frames.
  • Technical background is an asset.
  • Strong MS Office and front-end user computer skills
  • Familiarization with business systems would be an asset, such as SAP and CRM

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
