The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Structures Program Manager to join our Fleet Efficiency team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with our Customer Services organization to support the A220 operators.
You will be part of the Fleet Efficiency team responsible to ensure safe & economic operation of the A220 fleet in-service. The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as Structures Program Manager will be to:
Representing the Fleet Efficiency organization in Program Review Meetings with key suppliers by discussing risk & issues and highlighting priorities of the Customer Services organization.
Actively participating in the A220 program change governance and effectively manage the MISP & SISP (Major & Significant In-Service Problems) as the End to End leader of those projects.
Anticipating A220 operators’ needs and proactively initiate projects to support them in a timely manner. They will also be the leader or a key stakeholder in those initiatives on behalf of the Fleet Efficiency organization.

Your challenges:
MAJOR IN-SERVICE EVENTS:
Contribute to the analysis of the major in-service events & the proposed solutions, identifies & implements mitigations and solutions embodiment plan and lead with the support from ISE and Flight Operations the definition of the proper communication plan to customers (TFU, AOT, OEB, webinars …).
Ensure that the Customer Services impacts and required deliverables are well known and understood for each proposed aircraft modification.
Determine and prepare the implementation strategy (SB policy, embodiment campaigns...) that will be validated at the Change Control Board (CCB).
Monitor the in-service aircraft airworthiness issues as well as the embodiment of the corrective actions and/or proposed improvements via Service Bulletins (SB) / Vendor Service Bulletin (VSB).
MAJOR IN-SERVICE PROBLEMS (MISP):
Identify MISP candidates and, when a MISP is launched, take the role of end-to-end Project Leader with the objective of delivering a technically and economically sound solution within a reasonable timeframe.
Maintain our working tools (TFU, CRISP) updated on a weekly basis and present status, risks and opportunities to our organization on a monthly basis.
FLEET PERFORMANCE:
Contribute to the recurring analysis of the fleet performance (Operational Reliability, Unplanned Technical Grounding, Maintenance costs, etc) by identifying deviations from targets and launching appropriate mitigation, improvement or recovery actions.
Maintain an overview of all Major Structures & Cabin issues and provide guidance to the organization with regards to prioritization, potential mitigations, in-service strategies & commercial policies.
GOVERNANCE WITH A220 OPERATORS & SUPPLIERS:
Maintain a close contact with allocated Customers to ensure a good cooperation between both parties.
Be the focal point for customer services and fleet performance for that customer, in order to address the program issues raised and provide regular updates on the latest developments.
Organize and contribute to Technical Review Meetings (FRM) for allocated Customers.
They will be the focal point for the Fleet Efficiency organization in our internal Change Management governance and our multiple IPTs for all initiatives related to Structures.
They will represent the Fleet Efficiency organization in Program Review Meetings with key suppliers by highlighting risk & issues and sharing the priorities defined by the Customer Services organization.
Your profile:
You possess an Aerospace Engineering degree or equivalent;
You have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Engineering, aircraft operation and/or customer services;
You demonstrate experience in interacting with customers, are customer focused and behave with integrity at all time with no compromise;
You possess a strong business and financial acumen combined with a strategic view;
You have experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects and excellent presentation skills;
Advanced level of English & French;
You have demonstrated capability of working within high performance teams in a fast-paced environment, with constantly changing priorities;
You have sound knowledge of the aerospace industry and TCCA/FAA/EASA regulations;
You care for people development and value everyone’s contribution.
This role may involve some travels for business (worldwide).
