We are currently seeking a qualified electromechanical technician to join our general services team. In this key role, the successful candidate will contribute to the proper functioning of facilities and equipment by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and the building, in addition to carrying out certain administrative tasks. We are looking for a versatile candidate with solid industrial experience.

Main responsibilities

  • Perform corrective repairs and maintenance on machinery and the building in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan.
  • Carry out administrative tasks such as maintenance planning, closing work orders, and providing performance indicators.
  • Perform any other related duties assigned by the service manager.

Qualifications

The qualifications we are looking for:

  • Vocational diploma in electromechanics.
  • Journeyman electrician card (licence C) or in the process of obtaining it.
  • At least 3 years of experience in industry.
  • Comfortable performing tasks in the following specialties: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Able to work with computer tools (Microsoft suite and others).
  • Available one week out of three to respond to emergency calls (compensatory remuneration).
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Valid driver's license.

Assets

  • Safety training.
  • First responder (emergency first aid) certification.
  • Good spoken English.
