Reporting to the Director of Operations, the incumbent ensures the proper operation and reliability of production equipment by performing preventive and corrective maintenance and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This role is essential to maintaining equipment performance and supporting manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including autoclaves, ovens, CNC machines, robots, cutting tables, inspection equipment, and pneumatic tools
- Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electromechanical issues
- Carry out the necessary repairs to minimize equipment downtime
- Perform periodic inspections and replace components as required
- Participate in planning and monitoring maintenance activities in collaboration with the Production teams using internal management systems, including ERP, Power BI, and maintenance routines
- Ensure the availability of spare parts and collaborate with the Purchasing and Engineering teams as required
- Work closely with the Production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of new equipment, including plant layout planning, risk assessments, and the development of maintenance requirements
- Apply the company’s health and safety standards and quality requirements
- Train and support operators on basic daily equipment-maintenance practices
- Perform all other related duties
Education
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Industrial Mechanics, Automated Systems Electromechanics, or a related field
Skills and Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing or another highly regulated environment is considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical schematics written in French or English
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management tools is considered an asset
- Ability to diagnose problems quickly and recommend sustainable solutions
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Functional proficiency in French sufficient to understand safety instructions, work procedures, and technical documentation, as well as the ability to consult technical documentation in English
