What you need to succeed
College diploma (DEC) in electrotechnics, industrial electronics, or industrial electronics technology
Non-Construction license (CÉ) (asset)
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mind
Control expertise
Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs and CNC, Fanuc, Siemens controls and their programming software
Proficiency in reading electrical and electrotechnical diagrams
Knowledge of networking
Knowledge of Fanuc and ABB robotics
Excellent interpersonal skills: teamwork and positive attitude
Demonstrate perseverance, tenacity, and resourcefulness
Critical and innovative thinking and ability to take controlled risks
This position is in a French-speaking work environment, however, it requires a functional knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with international clients, suppliers, or colleagues.
What will your daily life be like?
Your daily challenge will be to ensure effective and functional maintenance of Pratt & Whitney aircraft and helicopter engine parts production equipment.
You will evolve in a clean and safe manufacturing environment composed of both state-of-the-art machinery and an older equipment fleet.
You will be responsible for maintaining over 1,800 numerical control machines and others in good working order by performing various preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work, as well as updating and various maintenance work on the different controllers.
You will have the chance to perfect different facets of your trade and explore areas related to your work during electrical and electronic repair work to become a recognized expert who can easily intervene across our entire machine park (serviceman level).
Your expertise will be sought to perform diagnostics to execute repairs on critical company equipment involving several different technologies.
You will participate in continuous improvement projects and new equipment introduction processes.
You will take part in joint workshops with several trades and experienced professionals to find sustainable solutions to recurring problems.
