What You Need to Succeed

• College Diploma (DEC) in electrotechnics, industrial electronics or industrial electronics technology
• Non-Construction License (CÉ) (asset)
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mind
• Expertise in control
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs and CNC controls, Fanuc, Siemens and their programming software
• Mastery of reading electrical and electrotechnical drawings
• Knowledge of networking
• Knowledge of Fanuc and ABB robotics
• Excellent interpersonal skills: teamwork and positive attitude
• Demonstrate perseverance, tenacity and resourcefulness
• Critical and innovative thinking and ability to take controlled risks
• This position is in a French-speaking work environment, nevertheless it requires a functional knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with international clients, suppliers or colleagues.

What Your Daily Routine Will Look Like

Your daily challenge will be to ensure efficient and functional maintenance of Pratt & Whitney's aircraft and helicopter engine parts production equipment.

• You will evolve in a clean and safe manufacturing environment composed of both cutting-edge machinery and an older equipment park.
• You will be in charge of maintaining in good working order more than 1,800 numerically controlled and other machines by performing various preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance work as well as updates and varied maintenance work of various controllers.
• You will have the opportunity to perfect various facets of your trade and explore sectors related to your work during electrical and electronic repair work to become a recognized expert who can intervene with ease throughout our machine park (serviceman level).
• Your expertise will be solicited to perform diagnostics in order to execute repairs on critical company equipment comprising several different technologies.
• You participate in continuous improvement projects and new equipment introduction processes.
• You will take part in joint working workshops with several trades and experienced professionals to find sustainable solutions to recurring problems.
