Job offer: Production Employee - CNC Machinist

About the position

In a context where team spirit and accountability are valued, you will perform various production-related tasks with a view to continuous learning. As a member of a production team, you will be adequately trained to perform assemblies, inspection, and operations on different equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to operate conventional or automated production machines
  • Ensure preparations and start-up of production
  • Carry out preventive maintenance of the machine(s) for which they are responsible
  • Gain experience in the aerospace industry
  • Be able to manage the production pace on several pieces of equipment simultaneously
  • Respect the company's predefined quality standards by carrying out all requested procedures

Desired profile

  • Possess a high school diploma (DES), an equivalency certificate
  • A technical DEC or DEP combined with your general education
  • 5 years of experience in CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
  • Be available to work evenings, nights, and overtime as needed
  • Possess a strong ability to work in a team, be versatile, and have a sense of initiative
  • Autonomy and resourcefulness
  • Ability to monitor production on several pieces of equipment at the same time
  • Adaptability to change
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Discipline, rigor, and ease of working in an environment with predefined quality procedures

Desired qualifications

  • Knowledge of mechanics and ability to work with measuring instruments such as calipers or micrometers
  • Experience in metal transformation, aerospace, or machining of high-precision parts according to aerospace sector requirements
