Lockheed Martin Canada Inc. (Lockheed Martin) is a leading combat systems integrator specializing in large-scale, advanced integration projects in Canada. We leverage advanced engineering practices and modern technologies to design, develop and integrate combat systems. The successful candidate will contribute to Lockheed Martin's integration, test and evaluation team in the following ways:

  • Develop or review test and trial systems aboard ships or ashore, including commissioning, integration testing, harbour acceptance testing, sea acceptance testing and operational test and evaluation.
  • Design and execute tests to verify the operation of integrated software.
  • Record results in the test management system.
  • Manage defect reports and associated documentation.
  • Support test report reviews to include analysis results from data collection and report findings to key stakeholders as required.
  • Support management and planning to identify and resolve naval combat system integration issues so that priority defects are corrected to meet test schedules.

Reporting

  • Report to leadership in real time any issues that affect planned test events.
  • Maintain current metrics for problem reporting.
  • Attend daily meetings to report on major issues.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree from a recognized university in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; technical military or civilian training with one (1) to three (3) years of relevant work experience will also be considered. Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Ability to solve complex problems within a team.
  • High degree of initiative and autonomy.
  • Ability to obtain a NATO Secret security clearance in a timely manner.

Desired additional skills

  • Experience operating the CMS 330 combat management system is an asset.
  • Experience as an operator of naval combat information equipment is an asset.
  • Familiarity with IBM DOORS is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of networking and networking tools is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology is an asset.
  • Knowledge of software development and testing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge of Linux.
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence.
  • Good planning skills.
  • Valid security clearance considered an asset.

Salary range

$62,000 - $81,500
