We're on the hunt for a motivated and talented Engineering Student in our EGSE and Test Data Processing department at our Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue office. This is a 4 months mandate (with a possibility of 8 months) starting in September 2026.

Overall, the successful candidate would be treated similar to a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date.

The successful candidate will participate in the development of RF and Power units for various MDA programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the production of equipment used in communication systems for communication satellites;
  • Within a multifunctional team, participate in the design and development cycle of radio frequency (RF) equipment and associated test equipment;
  • Support integration and testing on flight prototypes;
  • Work on different sections of the same project, or on different programs, as required;
  • Attend project planning and progress team meetings.

Experience and skills required:

  • Five semesters of bachelor's degree in electrical engineering completed before the start of the internship;
  • Interest and knowledge of radio frequency circuit design and RF components;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Dynamic;
  • Desire to learn;
  • Sense of initiative would be an asset;
  • Related work or extracurricular experiences.

Desirable skills:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills ideally both in English and French (contact with customers outside Quebec);
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Demonstrated academic performance (good general average, e.g. above 3.30);
  • Bilingual.
