The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Customer Event Manager to join our A220 Customer Services team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented A220 Customer Services Event Coordinator to end-to-end plan, manage, and execute high-profile internal and external A220 customer services events.

Your role as an A220 Customer Services Event Coordinator will be to plan, manage, and execute end-to-end large-scale internal and external events for A220 customer services. You will act as a trusted advisor to the company's entire customer service team, coordinating small and large-scale international customer events while ensuring each event meets Airbus standards for protocol, quality, sustainability, and compliance.

Your challenges:

  • Design, organize, and execute a full calendar of small-to-large-scale internal and external events to the highest professional standards.
  • Manage the event roadmap, timelines, and budgets. Evaluate ROI, gather customer feedback, and implement continuous improvement plans.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage third-party suppliers. Leverage modern event technologies, digital platforms, AV solutions, and hybrid event design to maximize engagement cost-effectively.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for high-level logistics involving internal and external executives, customers, operators, lessors, suppliers, aerospace authorities, and VIP guests.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Airbus to ensure event content, format, and messaging align with strategic goals.
  • Provide guidelines and best practices on event formatting, protocol, and audience engagement for customer services leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Strictly adhere to company ethics, corporate compliance regulations, and risk management frameworks.
  • Champion eco-efficient event practices and maintain strict adherence to workplace health and safety protocols.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or university diploma in Communications, Event management, Hospitality, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of hands-on experience in procurement, event management, hospitality, and/or corporate communications within a global organization.
  • Proven track record handling schedules, deliverables, suppliers, customers, operators, authorities, safety and security, transport, facility access, negotiations, audiovisual needs, and event invitation tools.
  • Fully bilingual in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills with demonstrated resilience and adaptability in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

Assets / Preferred Skills

  • Experience within the aerospace, aviation, or transportation sectors.
  • Background in events, hotel management, or hospitality operations.
  • Experience in corporate content writing and messaging strategy.
  • Experience in social media content management.
  • Strong financial acumen and direct budget management experience.

Note: Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.

Due to the sector of activity (aerospace), frequent contacts with Airbus entities worldwide, and interactions with suppliers and clients also located across the globe, proficiency in English is required for this position.
