  • Mentor engineering teammates in turbomachinery core concepts, optimization, and aircraft integration.

Your boarding pass:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or a related discipline;
  • 20+ years of relevant industry experience, specifically in engine turbomachinery core design (engine OEM experience throughout full product lifecycle/development phases strongly preferred);
  • Comprehensive understanding of turbofan design best practices, performance, validation & verification, as well as test rig and flight testing;
  • Strong familiarity with engine externals, FADEC software, and engine control systems;
  • In-depth knowledge of system installation qualification requirements (DO-160, vibration, piping/tubing) for accessories (fire detection loops, fire protection lines, drains, fuel/hydraulic lines);
  • Proven track record in risk management, probabilistic analysis techniques, and failure investigation;
