The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Performance and Project Management Expert to join our team, based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the team of the A220 Final Assembly Line (FAL) line A, based in Mirabel.

Your role as a performance expert will be to support the Operations manager (functional link) in the overall coordination of performance improvement projects (following SQCDP).

Your challenges:

  • Be the strategic partner of the Autonomous Production Team (EAP3) in terms of Deadlines, Cost, Quality, HSE, People and Performance of projects and FAL line A (Business Unit).
  • Support the Head of Operations in decision-making: provide the analyses required for decision-making, lead critical actions for the sector, and any other required element
  • Lead activities related to Business Unit communications with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead People Change Management activities including, but not limited to, improving employee engagement
  • Collaborate with the Head of Operations and various stakeholders in problem-solving
  • Collaborate with experts from other teams with the objective of standardization,
  • Transform the Head of Operations' vision into a strategic plan and monitor its progress;
  • Support and be a force of proposal to adapt Governance to maintain a high-performing organization that enables decision-making;
  • Be the relay for escalations with the AOS team and the team's strategic analysts,
  • Develop, harmonize, and update integrated plans;
  • Collaborate and support the quality structure of plans through the implementation of performance indicators
  • Manage risks and opportunities for the sector and ensure they are escalated according to Airbus standards to the organization's risk and ops leader
  • Use specific project management tools and methodologies to secure optimal execution;
  • Implement and manage the governance of multidisciplinary teams, internal and external to Airbus;
  • Guarantee the overall consistency of initiatives leading to an improvement of the organization's CVAT (improvement routines, PDCA, VSA, Balance Score Card...)

Your profile:

  • You hold a bachelor's degree (first university cycle) in Management, Project Management, Engineering or equivalent;
  • You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in project management or program management or equivalent;
  • Leadership and Influence: You demonstrate strong leadership skills and a high level of influence, able to adapt to diverse audiences, including managers at all levels. You possess the necessary experience to support teams through change.
  • Organizational and Analytical Skills: You are an organized person and you have good analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills. These skills allow you to ensure sound decision-making in connection with operational needs and escalate issues as needed. You are also able to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Collaboration and Facilitation: You have an open mind, strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a great ability to work in a team. You are able to organize and facilitate workshops with numerous stakeholders to achieve set objectives.
  • You are bilingual (French and English).
