The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for passionate, highly skilled, and challenge-seeking individuals to join our Digital & Business Transformation team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will be at the heart of preparing us for our next chapter, embarking the whole Airbus capabilities including Europe on an ambitious new Aviation Industry adventure .

You will be part of the Digital & Business Transformation team responsible for revolutionizing how we work, optimizing our processes, and harnessing the power of data and innovative technologies to build the foundation for a bold future .

Your role as Sourcing Transformation Expert will be to assess the current Supplier and Contractual state related to our company operational readiness and contributing to the strategic definition and implementation of our future operating model for a potential new aircraft program. You will work collaboratively with representatives from various functions, as well as colleagues in Digital and Business Transformation, to define and drive key initiatives. You will set up and lead multi-functional teams to ensure delivery of each initiative in Time Cost and Quality.

Your challenges:

  • Drive Strategic Make-or-Buy Framework Development : contribute to the design, implementation and updates of a company-wide framework and heatmap to assess functional readiness, distinguishing core from non-core functions to inform make, buy, or SLA decisions.

  • Assess and Enhance Organizational Readiness : Partner with functional leaders to evaluate people, data, tools, and processes against Minimum Viable Company standards to identify critical gaps impacting core/non-core or make/buy strategies

  • Champion Strategic Sourcing and Partnership : Within Multifunctional teams, shape and deploy a sourcing plan to establish an optimal global supplier landscape, guided by our make/buy policy

  • Oversee End-to-End Sourcing and Contract Management : Drumbeat and monitor the full tender lifecycle, from planning and execution to contract establishment and performance monitoring against strategic goals. Lead or contribute to cross-functional teams to ensure understanding, alignment, and effective execution of readiness initiatives and strategic sourcing.

  • Support and participate in Supplier Governance : Partner with Procurement to establish effective supplier governance for consistent communication, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and to ensure supplier readiness and maturity.

  • Develop and Communicate Strategic Insights : Create clear, synthetic visualizations, analyses, and projections based on contract planning and supplier performance data to inform and support senior leadership decision-making forums and investment strategy definitions.

  • Identify and Mitigate Program Risks : Proactively identify potential risks and opportunities related to program readiness and sourcing strategies, developing and proposing effective mitigation and realization plans.

Your boarding pass:

  • Project & Procurement Leadership: Proven experience in strategic project sourcing, procurement, and managing projects from initiation to completion. Project management and purchasing certifications (PMP, CPP) are preferred.

  • Strategic Financial Acumen: Expertise in Make-Buy strategies, cost optimization, Business Case Analysis, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

  • Digital & Data Savvy: Experience with digital transformation and adept at using data for reporting and visualization; data analysis tools are a plus.

  • Business Process Improvement: Strong background in business analysis and process improvement, understanding complex organizational interdependencies.

  • Aerospace Industry Experience: Direct experience within the aerospace sector.

  • Strong Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Exceptional Communication: Bilingual (French & English) with excellent interpersonal and networking skills, and a strong ability to influence.

  • Adaptive & Analytical: Highly analytical, problem-solving, and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced, multi-functional environments.

This role may involve some travels for business (worldwide).
