Within our rapidly expanding Operations Strategy team, your mission will be to build the supply chain of tomorrow. This supply chain will support our manufacturing activities to ensure the production of our engines for the next decade.
This unique positioning places you at the very heart of the organization. You will act as the "strategic thread" capable of integrating and expanding current sourcing plans into a cohesive whole.
As a high-level individual contributor, you will act as an internal strategic consultant. You will leverage your technical expertise to orchestrate major structural changes and influence senior management decisions regarding P&WC's industrial footprint for the next ten years.
This full-time position, from Monday to Friday with a flexible schedule, is based in Longueuil and is performed exclusively on-site.
What your day-to-day will look like
In this role, you will drive major industrial transformations through rigorous project governance and advanced data exploitation:
- Make / Buy Analysis: Conduct strategic, financial, and operational analyses to determine the best industrial footprint for current and future engine programs.
- Operational Strategy: Design and implement integrated strategies between manufacturing and supply chain teams to optimize the global production network and ensure high-performing and resilient operations.
- Spend Analysis: Perform in-depth analyses of value chain spend data to identify margin improvement opportunities, cost reduction, and measurable value creation.
- Organizational Continuity: Ensure a smooth transition between strategic design phases and operational deployment (NPI – New Product Introduction), guaranteeing optimal alignment between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance teams.
- Business Case Development: Prepare and present complex strategic dossiers to P&WC and RTX executive committees to gain stakeholder buy-in for high-impact initiatives.
- Global Capabilities Development: Identify and qualify new technology partners, in Canada and internationally, to build tomorrow's agile and robust global operations network.
What you need to succeed
We are looking for a hybrid profile combining solid technical expertise in aerospace and strong skills in strategic project management:
- Minimum of 10 to 12 years of professional experience in the aerospace sector (OEM), with recognized expertise in complex manufacturing processes (raw materials, foundry, forge, high-precision machining), or Minimum of 10 to 12 years of professional experience in the aerospace sector or a high-precision manufacturing industry (e.g., automotive), with recognized expertise in complex manufacturing processes (raw materials, foundry, forge).
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or business administration, combined with solid exposure to technical environments.
- An MBA is a major asset to evolve in this highly strategic role.
- Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiation.
- Excellent ability to draw strategic insights from complex data, financial models, and spend analyses.
- Aptitude to synthesize complex issues and mobilize stakeholders in a global matrix environment.
- Demonstrated ability to pilot large-scale international projects with a high level of autonomy, excellent strategic judgment, and a strong spirit of collaboration.
This position takes place in a French-speaking work environment; however, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with international clients, suppliers, or colleagues.
