Responsibilities
- Draft, validate, and correct assembly instructions or manufacturing routings intended for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components;
- Interpret drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
- Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components;
- Define the tools required for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing;
- Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working closely with the engineering, materials logistics, quality, and production departments;
- Take an active part in production support by coordinating the resolution of technical problems with other support departments;
- Stay on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies in addition to taking part in research and development projects.
Profile Sought
- You have a college diploma or university degree in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial, or electromechanical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing, or a minimum of 5 years in a related discipline;
- You are comfortable reading technical drawings and possess good 3D visualization and analytical skills;
- You have good logic and a strong mechanical aptitude;
- You are familiar with the MS Office suite of software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
- You know computer-aided design software such as Catia, AutoCad, Enovia;
- You know Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as BAAN, SAP;
- You have basics in continuous improvement project management;
- You have an excellent team spirit, and you are recognized for your perseverance and good judgment;
- You master the French language, both orally and in writing, and you have a good knowledge of the English language.
