What Your Daily Routine Will Look Like:

The candidate must install, maintain, test, and repair complex air conditioning and ventilation units, as well as related electrical, electronic, and pneumatic controls.

What You Need to Succeed

Desired Skills

• In-depth knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning, electrical principles, controls and safety devices, and repair techniques
• Ability to use applied mathematics and formulas, interpret blueprints and specifications, and use various instruments such as gas detectors, gauges, pumps, and electrical measuring devices
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work at heights
• Knowledge of Windows and SAP environments
• Very strong teamwork skills

Education

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in refrigeration mechanics
• Refrigeration mechanic qualification certificate as required by law
• Qualification certificate for the handling of refrigerants as required by law

Experience

• Three to four years of relevant experience in the field
