Why join the Engine Maintenance Cost team?

As Forecasting Analyst, you will report to the Associate Director, Engine Maintenance Programs. You will be responsible for modelling maintenance forecasts for fleets of gas turbine engines.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Work in collaboration with a diverse team composed of customer managers, financial analysts, and engine technical experts.
  • Use specialized software to generate maintenance planning simulations for engine fleets.
  • Learn about our range of engines and their specific maintenance strategies.
  • Work with industry experts to validate the results of your modelling activities.
  • Take part in daily meetings with colleagues to understand requirements and refine needs.
  • Handle the management of input data and the modelling details in the simulation tools.
  • Contribute to problem-solving in order to optimize model results for maintenance planning.
  • Support the development of forecasting software - Ensure current software is receiving updates as required and support the change management for our future software platform.
  • Monitor and oversee process improvements - Ensure proper turnback system is in place and that processes are documented and updated with improvements.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or 5 years of experience with a Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Familiar with concepts of commercial and technical elements of maintenance planning in aerospace or similar industry
  • Curious nature, with an aptitude for problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • An aptitude for working with highly detailed computer models
  • Self-starter that looks for opportunities to learn and grow
  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, however it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may come from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with clients, suppliers or international colleagues.
