Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future Supply Chain and Supplier Quality Manager.

Job Summary :

Under the supervision of the manager, the Supply Chain and Supplier Quality Manager plays a central coordinating role between the buyer and the supply chain team. Their mission is to manage supplier performance, ensure compliance, and propose continuous improvement projects to guarantee smooth operations.

Main responsibilities :

  • Provide feedback to buyers on suppliers during calls for tender ;
  • Manage and contribute to contract aspects related to the supply chain and quality ;
  • Manage supplier quality approval and report on their operational performance (quality, deadlines, costs) ;
  • Initiate and monitor catch-up plans and improvement projects with suppliers ;
  • Identify suppliers' industrial risks and propose mitigation actions ;
  • Assess supplier capacity and performance ;
  • Monitor the introduction of new products and work transfers to ensure industrial maturity ;
  • Monitor supplier performance indicators and develop action plans ;
  • Manage business reviews with suppliers.

Job Requirements

Academic training: Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or supply chain management.

Experience: A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a position dealing with suppliers.

Specific requirements :

  • Mastery of supplier relations and load analysis ;
  • Solid knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO 9001 ;
  • Understanding of inventory management ;
  • Mastery of the Google suite, SAP, Microsoft Office, and Power BI ;
  • Work rigor, analytical mind, and sense of multi-trade coordination ;
  • Bilingualism in French and English orally and in writing for communication purposes with suppliers

Physical working environment : The position is mainly in an office environment. Professional travel is to be expected in North America (approximately 50% of the time) to visit suppliers.
