We are looking for a HR IM Application Manager to join our Digital for Corporate North American team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada). You will serve as IT Product and Service Manager for Human Resources and drive end-to-end lifecycle management of HR IT products and applications related to Human Capital and Learning Management, with a strong focus on Workday HCM and Time Management modules. This role is a key digital interface for HR stakeholders, ensuring stability, compliance and continuous improvement of core HR systems within Airbus North American entities.

Your challenges

  • Product Strategy & Delivery: Participate in defining the product roadmap, manage the full service lifecycle (design, industrialization, operation, support) and drive system improvements with a focus on Workday HCM and Time Tracking functionalities.
  • Solution Design & Configuration: Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Design Authority for Workday configuration, translating complex business needs into efficient, scalable IT solutions.
  • Service Excellence: Ensure high quality of service delivery, meet agreed SLAs, manage vendor and integrator performance, and ensure compliance with IM standards and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Contribute to multi-functional teams, manage escalations, and foster collaboration with local HR and global IT counterparts to align North American requirements with the global HRIS strategy.
  • Deep Dive Analysis: Lead detailed analysis sessions for complex business requirements (Core HCM, complex time and absence scenarios), identify gaps, develop workarounds and propose design changes.
  • Workday Configuration & Testing: Design, customize and rigorously test HR processes within Workday and integrations; lead configuration, testing and deployment efforts for module implementations or enhancements.
  • System Integrity & Roadmap: Manage system upgrades, enhancements, troubleshooting and related legacy HR applications to maintain optimal integrity and functionality.
  • Service Governance: Monitor and manage fulfillment of Service and Operations Level Agreements for HR IT services.
  • Liaison and Crisis Management: Act as key IT contributor during system crises or escalations, liaising with resolver groups to ensure rapid corrective action, especially for production issues affecting payroll deadlines or time entry accuracy.
  • Service Improvement: Define and implement continuous improvement actions, manage cost allocation and work with other IM domains to define a strategic product roadmap.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive functional design documents, test cases and knowledge base articles specific to Workday HCM and Time Tracking solutions.
  • Vendor Performance: Track performance of system integrators and suppliers using contractual KPIs and oversee recommendations for improvement.

Your profile

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in HR ERP/HRIS implementation, support and service delivery management.
  • Mandatory deep experience in Workday Core HCM: Extensive knowledge and practical experience managing, configuring or supporting a complex Workday HCM system (Business Process framework, organizational structures, employee lifecycle).
  • Hands-on Workday expertise: Proven experience designing, configuring and supporting multiple Workday modules, preferably Time Tracking and Absence Management.
  • Service Management: Strong background in ITSM and delivering IT services according to SLAs in an outsourced environment.
  • Technical integration: Experience with system/data migration, solution design, architecture and integrations between HRIS and other enterprise systems.
  • Project leadership: Experience leading HRIS implementation projects and managing cross-functional dependencies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Workday HCM or Time Tracking certification (asset).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to bridge technical teams and HR business functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex regulatory and business requirements (timekeeping).
  • Process knowledge of Aerospace, Defense or similarly regulated industry (asset).
  • Strong work ethic, excellent time management, and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, agile, team-oriented environment.

This role may involve business travel worldwide. Regular travel will be expected. Possible on-call duties during weekends and/or holiday seasons.
